Capturing Stills

Note: Make sure when moving the camera to hold it perpendicular to floor and carry the camera carefully around the property

Below is a checklist of everything you do to capture a still Image:

  1. Place the camera in the room to get a nice wide shot

  2. On the display screen tap still image button

  3. Select your preferred view Auto or 110 or 115 degrees (you can see a preview on the screen)

  4. Get out of sight of the camera

  5. Do not move or touch the camera until it has finished capturing and wait 10 seconds

  6. Now you may select ‘done’ or hit the ‘X’ and try again

  7. Move the camera and take another photo

Note: The camera should only be used outside in dry conditions, water can damage your camera & make the lens wet which will ruin your captures! For outdoor still images we always recommend taking a few extra steps back when possible & leaving some space around the edge of your image.

Get creative and line up the shots that best suit your preference and the space you are capturing. You can always take multiple images in a room if you have a lot you feel is worth presenting by capturing multiple angles in large spaces, any extra photos taken can be deleted off of the dashboard.
