Preparing the Property for Capture
Next let's prepare the property for capture: Ensure that the property is presented for viewing by removing any unwanted elements (trash, pets, hand bags, even the Giraffe360 carry case, and keys on the table). This will help ensure you and your clients are happy with the final product.

Note: Just try to present the property as you would for an in-person viewing! Turn on the lights and open the curtains and move things to be placed accordingly.

Below is a checklist of everything you should do to prepare the project:

  1. Turn on the lights, and open the curtains

  2. Open the doors to each room

  3. Make sure there is no debris or cluttered items and the property looks nice

  4. Check the outdoor areas too

Note: Giraffe360 will automatically blur:

  • Registration plates of vehicles

  • Faces & photographs

  • The camera will also be removed fully from mirrors & reflective surfaces where visible.

  • Customers can also blur any additional features using our in-dashboard blur editors!

Scans are used to create your Virtual tours & Floorplans - These are made up of panoramic images taken by the camera & over 200,000 point measurements captured by the camera's inbuilt Lidar.

A still image is a wide angle HDR Photograph of the space

Project Definition

A Billable project Includes up to 40 scans and 40 still images. If you use more than 40 of either asset type this will count as a second project & will be deducted from your overall project count. This will still upload to the dashboard (CMS) as a single property for ease of management.
