How to add and/or remove assets from a project
Click the menu button in the top right corner of your project to see the options available.
The two main features you are likely to use, are the Merge and Split. These are really useful if you have forgotten to scan a room or not turned the camera off in between two properties.
Merging can be a fantastic tool in case you haven't been able to scan a space in the first visit or a change has been made e.g re-painting or re-modelling. You don't need to re-capture the entire property, just the space that needs updating!
To merge
On the projects page, find the project you wish to merge
Click on the project card to access all the content
Click the menu button “…” at the top right corner
Click “Modify project”. A new window will open
Click “Merge”
Hide panoramas you don’t want in the new merged project virtual tour (these panoramas will be just hidden and available in the new merged project)
Click “Add project” and choose a project you wish to add to the current one
Unselect panoramas and still photos that you don’t want to merge in (if any)
Check the “Delete unselected content and project after the merge” at the bottom of the project content if you no longer need the project. By checking this box, content from the project you’re merging in will be deleted and not the content from the main project.
If you wish to merge another project click “Add project” again
Once you’ve selected all the projects and content you want to merge in, Click “Merge”
Important Note: When Initiating a merge be sure to start the process from the Oldest Project to ensure the link to your original project is retained.
Other info about merging projects
The projects that are merged will be counted as a new project and the original projects will no longer be available.
You will have to generate new sharing links for the newly merged project.
When you merge projects, all changes made in editors will be lost
E.g. If you have added blur masks or changed room names for the projects you're about to merge, these changes won't be transferred to the new merged projects.
If you have selected the wrong project, you can delete it by clicking on the bin icon on the project card
To split
On the projects page, find the project you wish to split
Click on the project card to access all the content
Click the menu button “…” at the top right corner
Click “Modify project"
Click “Split”
For each panorama card, click on the icon in the top right corner. Choose whether to keep it in Project 1, Project 2, or click the "+" to split the project into more than two.
Click the eye icon to hide a panorama if you do not wish to show it in the chosen project. E.g. If you select the panorama to be in project 1 but click on the eye icon to hide it, it will be added to that project but hidden from virtual tour.
On each still photo card click on the icon in the top right corner and choose whether to keep it in Project 1, Project 2 or click “+” to split the project in more than 2
Click “Split” when you’re ready to split the projectOnce your request is submitted, the project's status will be changed to “Reprocessing” until the changes are applied.
Other info about splitting projects
The projects that are split will be counted as new projects.
If you want to keep the same panorama in both projects or more, you can do so, but in addition to other panoramas (all the content can’t be the same in the split projects).
You will have to generate new sharing links for the new split projects.
When you split a project, all changes made in editors will be lost.
E.g. If you have added blur masks or changed room names for the project you're about to split, these changes won't be transferred to the new split projects.
Cancelling the merge and split requests
If you wish to cancel the split request, you have 10 minutes to do so. Go back to the project you made the request to be modified, click Modify the project. You’ll see a timer indicating how much time you still have to cancel request. Click on "Split" or "Merge" again and then click “Cancel the request”.
