The object removal tool helps you improve your panoramas by erasing unwanted elements like cables, small objects, or clutter. It creates a cleaner, distraction-free image, enhancing the overall quality and focus of your virtual tours.

⚠️ Important: For technical reasons, editing is disabled for projects created before January 1, 2025. You can request edit access, and it will be granted within an hour.

How to Remove Objects in Panoramas

  1. Open the panorama editor:

    • Click the menu button on the Virtual Tour card

    • Select "Panoramas"

    • Find the panorama you want to edit

    • Click the menu button on the panorama card and select "Edit"

  2. Click on the “Object removal” tab

  3. Select the Brush Tool

  4. Adjust the brush size using the slider to match the size of the object you want to remove

  5. Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag along the object to carefully trace over the area

  6. Adjust the Selection (Optional):

    • Use the Eraser Tool if you need to remove part of the selection or refine the area

  7. Once satisfied, click "Remove Object"

Note: If your selection area is too large, the tool may notify you to reduce it for better results

  8. Click "Save & Close"

Once you click Save & Close, the system will begin reprocessing the panorama.
The changes will be visible in the virtual tour immediately after processing is complete.

Other Info

  • If you make a mistake and have not yet saved your changes, click the Undo arrow in the top left corner

  • After saving, you can still restore the original panorama using the “Revert to Original option (revert before saving as well if needed). This works panorama-by-panorama, so you’ll need to open the specific panorama where the object was removed

Why Use Object Removal

Use this tool to quickly clean up your virtual tours without needing to reshoot:

  • Remove clutter like wires, small furniture items, or misplaced objects

  • Clear seasonal decorations (e.g. Christmas trees, holiday banners) to make spaces look timeless

  • Hide minor damage (if repairs are planned), such as small wall holes, scuffs, or unfinished repairs

  • Create a more neutral space by removing personal or sensitive items
