Gated tours are a powerful feature that allows you to restrict access to your virtual tours until users provide their contact information. This approach serves a dual purpose:
Lead Generation: By requiring visitors to submit their details, you can easily collect valuable leads for your business.
Selective Access: Gated tours ensure that only interested and verified users can access the full content, enhancing its perceived value.
Setting Up Gated Content
Open your project
Click the menu button "..." on the virtual card
Select “Tour link”
Find the section labeled Gated Tour
Change status to “Published” from the dropdown menu
Confirm that you agree to only use the provided email addresses for communications related to this service by checking the box
Click “Publish”
Now you can edit the slug of gated tour link if needed and copy and share it
Once enabled, visitors will only be able to explore the initial view of the virtual tour. To access the rest of the tour, they will need to submit their contact information through the pop-up form.
How It Works
When a visitor attempts to access restricted areas of the tour, a form will appear prompting them to provide their full name, email address, and phone number.
After submitting the form, they will receive a verification code via their email
Upon entering the verification code, they will gain full access to the tour, and their details will be registered as a new lead in your dashboard
Important Note
After implementing the new multiple link system, we cannot fully migrate your old links to the updated system. These old links are now referred to as legacy links, and all tours have been assigned new links.
Your legacy links will remain functional until they are unpublished.
However, we strongly recommend that you avoid using these old links and transition to the new ones to ensure better compatibility and a seamless experience.
Apart from "Gated tour", you can also set the virtual tour status to "Published " or "Unpublished". Click the link below to find out more:
