What is Archiving?

Archiving moves a project out of your active list into the Archived Projects section.

  • Archived projects remain securely stored and can be unarchived at any time.

  • While archived, all public links (Virtual Tour, Property Website, Share links, floor plan downloads) are unpublished.

  • Once a project is unarchived, its links stay inactive. You’ll need to turn them back on manually in the Dashboard.

Which Projects Will Be Archived

Projects will be automatically marked for archiving if they are more than 24 months old and have shown no activity since mid-October 2025.

A project is considered inactive if it meets all of the following conditions:

  • It was created over 24 months ago

  • It has had no virtual tour visits since mid-October 2025

  • It has had no property website visits since mid-October 2025

When these conditions are met, the project becomes eligible for automatic archiving. Before any project is archived, you’ll receive an email notification.

How activity is measured

  • We determine activity using simple visit counts on your virtual tours and property websites

  • These counts show how many times a tour or page has been viewed — not who viewed it

  • No personal, cookie-based, or identifying data is collected

Why we're doing this?

  1. Privacy & Security 🔐: We regularly receive messages of concern around security from current property owners/renters - older tours are sometimes still public after a property has sold or rented. Archiving helps protect owners’ privacy.

  2. Sustainability ♻️: Active hosting thousands of inactive projects uses unnecessary server space and energy.

  3. Cost Management 💰: Archiving unused content helps us manage infrastructure costs and avoid passing them on to clients.

Auto-Archiving Process

  1. Email Notice – You’ll receive an email notification. To keep specific projects active, open your Dashboard and select “Keep Active” next to the ones you’d like to retain.

  2. Archiving – If no action is taken, the scheduled projects will be archived. All public links (Virtual Tour, Property Website, Share links, floor plan downloads) will be unpublished.

  3. Unarchiving – You can restore any project at no cost; this may take up to 24 hours. After unarchiving, links must be restored manually.

If “Keep Active” is selected

  • The project stays active for another 3 months before being re-evaluated.

  • If there is still no activity, you’ll receive another email about archiving.

Key Things to Remember

  • Archived projects remain securely stored and visible in your account.

  • Unarchiving is always free

  • Unarchiving may take up to 24 hours

  • Some editing features are limited after unarchiving (merge/split and hide/unhide panorama not available)
