To Access the Video Editor

  1. Open the project you want to edit

  2. Click the menu button “…” on the video card

  3. Click "Edit" to launch the Tour Video Editor

  4. To preview your video, click the Play button at any time in the editor

    Click on any scene to start the preview from that point

How to Edit Your Video

The video is automatically generated with up to 15 panoramas, including an intro overlay, a pack shot overlay, voiceover, subtitles, and background music. You can make edits to customise your video as needed. Additionally, you have the option to add more panoramas beyond the default 15 to enhance your video further.

1. Managing Scenes

  • Each segment represents a panorama or pack shot

  • Click "Add Scene" to insert new panoramas

  • Use the “...” scene menu to:

    • Move scene (right or left on the timeline)

    • Replace scene

    • Set duration (min 3 seconds)

    • Adjust scene starting point

    • Edit voiceover text

    • Remove scene

2. Overlays

Intro Overlay (Marketing Start Screen)

  • The Intro Overlay is automatically added at the start of the video

  • Click Edit Overlay to manually enter property details

  • You can move or remove it. Only one intro overlay is allowed per video

Text Overlays

  • Click “Add Overlay” to add text to your video

  • The text appears in a fixed position based on the design

  • Intro and text overlays are tied to the scene they are in

  • The text will always match the length of the scene it’s in and cannot be manually adjusted

  • You can add line breaks when editing the text

Pack Shot Overlay (Marketing End Screen)

  • The Pack Shot appears at the end of the video by default

  • It cannot be moved, but the duration can be extended. You can also remove the pack shot overlay from the video

  • Click Edit Pack Shot to manually input property details

3. Voiceovers & Captions

Editing Voiceover

Voiceovers are always added by default. You can edit and regenerate the Voiceover.

From the scene

  • Click Edit Voiceover on a scene

  • Edit the auto-generated text

From the Voiceover settings

  • Select a voice style (e.g., British or American accents).

  • The voiceover updates automatically with your changes

If you don't want a voiceover in your video, you can either remove the text from the scenes or unmute the voiceover in the volume settings.

Enabling Captions

  • Captions are automatically generated based on the voiceover

  • Captions can be turned on/off

4. Background Music

  1. Click "Add music"

  2. Select from different royalty-free tracks

  3. Adjust the music’s duration (minimum: 3 seconds)

  4. Change songs if needed

5. Video Orientation

You can switch between landscape and portrait formats using the orientation toggle button in the editor toolbar.

Choose the format that aligns with your intended audience and platform.

6. Saving & Exporting

  1. Click “Save” after making edits

  2. Choose your resolution: 1440p or 1080p.

  3. Click “Generate” to finalise the video

  4. Download from the video card menu

Other Info

Watermark

  • If a watermark is enabled in Virtual Tour, it will automatically appear in the video.

Projects

  • Legacy projects will continue using the previous editor 30 days after the new tour video editor release. You can upgrade your videos to the new editor at any time.

  • New projects will default to the new Video Editor once it’s released
