Available Starting Monday, 9th of September.

If you need to change the aspect ratio or resolution of still photos from the default setting, you can do so in Presets.

How to Change Aspect Ratio or Resolution

  1. Go to “Presets”

  2. Select “Still Photos”

  3. Choose your desired aspect ratio from the available options: 3:2, 4:3, or 16:9. You can also adjust the resolution. When you change one value in the resolution, the other dimension will automatically adjust to maintain the aspect ratio. Keep in mind that each aspect ratio has a maximum resolution.

  4. Click “Save”

Update the camera

After saving the aspect ratio, update the camera settings so that photos are displayed in your desired aspect ratio and resolution in the camera preview while shooting.

To update the camera settings:

  1. Turn on the camera

  2. Open the options menu

  3. Tap "Check for updates"

  4. Apply the update

Your next project will display images using your chosen parameters.

Additional Information

  • The maximum resolution varies depending on the aspect ratio:

3:2 max resolution that you can set is 4500 x 3000

4:3 max resolution that you can set is 4000 x 3000

16:9 max resolution that you can set is 5333 x 3000

  • You can change the aspect ratio later in the still photo editor if needed (Go to the still photo editor > Click on the "Settings" icon > Select the desired aspect ratio and resolution). However, note that you won’t be able to set a resolution higher than what was originally configured in the Presets. For example, if you set the aspect ratio to 3:2 with a resolution of 3000 x 2000, you won’t be able to increase the resolution beyond that.
