To access the floor plan editor:

  1. Click on the menu button on the floor plan card

  2. Select “Edit”

You should now be able to view your floor plan file by all floors, or a singular floor.

How to make changes:

1. To change a room name

Click on the text you wish to edit from the floor plan itself OR click on the pencil icon in the sidebar on the left hand side next to the room name you want to change. You can also move the text by clicking and dragging it into the position you wish for it to be displayed.

Remember: if a room is unfurnished, we will leave this blank.

2. To hide Room names or Dimensions

Click on the 'eye' icon in the sidebar on the left hand side.

3. To add or remove objects

Click on “Objects” and then on the “+” icon to add an object to your floor plan. You can also adjust object size and rotate them, as well as delete them if needed. We also have custom shapes available, for kitchen units or islands, these can be resized and customised to fit your desired shape.

4. Additional settings

Click on the settings icon in the sidebar to access:

  • Language and Measurement preferences

  • Branding and Layout options

Selecting to have an adaptive layout will allow for a bigger view of the floors, by removing excess blank space from the grid view.

  • Content download options

If needed you can add the option to have the floor plans without branding as well as download larger files for printing.

Once you’re happy with your changes, click “Save & close”, this will instantly update the changes you have made.

Please note - The object editor can only be utilised to add features (e.g furniture) inside the captured space, additional uncaptured rooms or external buildings not included in the floorplans can not be added via the editor.
