What is Virtual Staging?

Virtual Staging is a new AI-powered tool (powered by Google Gemini) that lets you redesign rooms, add objects, or clear out furniture – all without physically staging the space. It helps you instantly create styled, market-ready images that boost buyer interest and save time on traditional staging.

How to Access Virtual Staging

  1. Open your project in Content Studio (dashboard)

  2. Click the menu button "..." on the Still photos card and select "AI Enhance" > Choose the photo you want to edit

    OR

Open the still photo folder > Choose a still photo > Click on its menu button "..." and select "AI Enhance"

  3. In the top left corner, you can see how many free or paid AI credits you’ve used. Admins or Managers can set paid credit limits on the Billing page.

  4. Pick one of the three options: Place objects; Virtual staging; Remove furniture

  5. Make edits > Choose one of the three options > click "Confirm"

  6. Once you've made edits to all desired still photos click "Save and close"

  7. Find and download the photos from AI Enhanced Variations

Inside AI Enhance, all changes are generated from your original image.

Clicking "Generate" uses one credit and usually produces up to three AI variations, though occasionally only one may be returned. At least one result is always generated.

AI Enhance Options

1. Place Objects

Use this option to add a single item to the room – for example:
plants, lamps, books, flowers, artwork, or small decorations.

How it works

  1. Click the dropdown arrow to open Place Objects description field

  2. Type a short description of the object you want to add

    • Example: “Tall green plant in a white ceramic pot”

  3. Click the marker icon and place it on the photo where the object should appear

  4. Click "Place Object" to generate results

  5. Pick your favorite from the three versions shown, or click Regenerate to try again

2. Virtual Staging

Use this option to fully redesign or furnish an entire room in a new style.

How it works

  1. Click the dropdown arrow to open Virtual staging description field

  2. Describe the room style, colors, or design you want

  3. For the best results, try following this formula:

[Room Type] + [Design Style] + [Key Furniture Pieces] + [Mood/Lighting]

    • Examples:

      • "Living room, Scandinavian style, light wood sofa and coffee table, soft natural daylight”

      • “Home office, modern style, minimalist desk and ergonomic chair, bright focused lighting”

      • “Nursery, pastel contemporary style, crib and rocking chair, warm soft lighting”

  4. Click "Generate"

  5. Choose from the three versions created for you

Virtual Staging transforms the whole room – no position marker needed.

3. Remove All Furniture

Use this option when you want an empty, decluttered room.

How it works

  1. Click the dropdown arrow to open Remove furniture description field

  2. Click "Remove" to clear everything from the room

  3. Review the three generated empty-room versions and select your preferred one

Where Your AI Versions Are Stored

AI-generated images are saved separately from your original still photos.

  • You will find them under "AI Enhanced Variations" inside your project

  • Your original photo is never overwritten

  • When you click "Save & Close", the selected AI version is automatically upscaled for higher quality

AI Enhance is powered by a third-party integration, so the number of generated variations may vary. Typically up to three versions are returned, but sometimes fewer. If at least one result is generated, one credit will be used. If no results are returned, no credit will be used.

Important: Use of Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Staging

Giraffe360’s Virtual Staging feature uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to create or enhance images using Google Gemini.

Generative AI may introduce changes beyond furnishings or decor and, in some cases, may modify the appearance or shape of windows, doors, walls, or other structural elements. Virtual staging may also add, remove, or alter visual elements that were not physically present in the property at the time of capture.

Laws, regulations, and platform rules governing the use and disclosure of AI-generated or digitally altered content vary by jurisdiction and by publishing platform.

You are responsible for determining whether disclosures are required in your specific circumstances and for complying with all applicable real estate advertising, consumer protection, and AI transparency requirements, including ensuring that any required labels, notices, disclaimers, links to original images, or other disclosures are properly displayed when publishing or distributing content created using Giraffe360’s services.
