On the Move
To keep your PRO equipment in top condition, always transport the camera inside the Carry Case. Its protective foam and rigid shell shield the device from bumps, scratches, dust, and moisture.
The case also features adjustable rear clips that allow you to secure your Auto-Height Tripod directly to the case – perfect for quick transitions between properties without carrying multiple separate items.
Setting Up
The Auto-Height Tripod
The Giraffe PRO kit includes an Auto-Height Tripod that automatically adjusts during want the whole article g scanning to collect data from multiple viewpoints.
For the camera to operate and capture correctly, it must be connected to the tripod.
Before mounting the camera:
Extend and secure tripod legs
Press the Power button on the tripod to turn it on.
The tripod will remain ready to link with your camera via Bluetooth.
Tripod levels are controlled from the PRO Cam screen – no manual leveling is required; Still Photos and Single Scans allow you to choose a level, while Double Scans adjust levels automatically when scanning.
The Giraffe PRO Camera
Place the PRO Cam onto the top of the tripod
Gently twist it until it clicks and locks securely in place
Press and hold the Power button (located above the charging port) to turn on the camera
Ensure the tripod is powered on
On the camera screen, open Options → Tripods to pair → Connect. Wait for the Bluetooth connection confirmation
To detach the camera, twist the base in the direction of the “Unlock” arrow
Always confirm the camera is firmly secured to the tripod before scanning. A solid connection prevents shifts or tilt and ensures accurate alignment throughout the scan.
